VEHICLES ‘ TRANSPORTATION
Transportation of vehicles is not included in the entry fees and is at competitors’ expenses. To help competitors, Organizers set up 2 types of transportation services to reach Xi’an and to leave Russia.
1 -“TURNKEY” TRANSPORTATION FOR CARS, RACE AND SERVICE: you take care of nothing!
(only cars, no trucks nor vans allowed)
- From France to China and return from Russia to France ;
- In a secured car carrier truck, including customs’ clearance ;
- Also including the transportation of the vehicle till Moscow, in case of withdrawal during the Rally (only for competitors having subscribed to the round trip service)
Several loading places may be offered, according to the number of vehicles.
Loading of the vehicles in France on June 24th, arrival in Xi’an on July 12th in the evening.
Return in France on August 3rd, unloading of the vehicles on August 4th
Total downtime of the vehicles (including the race) : 1 month and half

12.000€ per race car / 13.000€ per service car
|FARES ONWARD TRIP (France/China):
8.500€ per race car / 9.500€ per service car
|*FARES RETURN TRIP (Russia/France):
3.000€ per race car / 3.500€ per service car
*subscription to the « return trip » turnkey package doesn’t include the transportation till Moscow in case of withdrawal during the race. Additional fees of 1€/km calculated from the withdrawal place will be applied to transport the vehicle at the arrival.
Subscribtion to all the turnkey transportation packages is not refundable, in case of change of option after June 15th
2 - ROUND TRIP “COMPETITORS” CONVOY, EUROPE/RUSSIA/CHINA: you drive your vehicles.
ONWARD CONVOY: EUROPE-RUSSIA-CHINA
16 days from Travemünde – mileage 8.900 km approx (from Helsinki, Finland to Xi’an, China)
By road, from North of Germany (Travemünde) with the crossing of the Baltic sea to reach Finland (2 nights, 1 day), then road in Russia, Kazakhstan and China to reach Xi’an (route in good conditions, even in Kazakhstan with a little trafic, 30% on highways, the rest on single lane roads).
In a secured convoy, managed by the Organization ;
Customs’ clearance facilities ;
Borders crossings supervised by the Organizer
Different stages with hotel accommodation and shuttles booked by the organization plus safe car parks for vehicles.
Start from Travemunde on June 27th, arrival in Xi’an on July 12th.
RETURN CONVOY: RUSSIA / EUROPE
4 days – mileage: 1.132km (from Moscow to Travemunde)
Road convoy from Moscow to Finland, then Baltic sea crossing (2 days, 1 night) to reach the North of Germany (Travemünde)
Customs clearance facilities ;
Russian border crossing supervised by the organization
Start from Moscow on July 30th at 08.00 pm, arrival in Travemünde on August 2nd in the evening.
FARES FOR SEA CROSSING Travemünde/Helsinki round trip, including one cabin for 1 driver :
between 800€ and 3.600€ according to the size of the vehicles.
FARES PER PERSON: 50€/night during the convoy, including transfers to hotels, interpreter’s services at the hotels, breakfast and accommodation in double rooms. NB : quality of the hotels during the convoy is not constant and may therefore vary from a stage to another.
FARES PER VEHICLE: 20€/day of convoy, including safety and vehicles’ guarding on car parks during nights, tolls in Russia and Kazakhstan.
Fuel, tolls in China, drivers’ salary and meals (others than breakfasts) are at your own expense during the whole convoy.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: An ATA carnet is compulsory for all the vehicles taking part in the convoy. This ATA carnet will be used only to do the exit of Europe in Finland and the entrance in Europe in Finland at the end of the rally.
Drivers of the vehicles following the convoy may be different on the outward and return journey
3 - OTHER MEANS OF TRANSPORT
Do you wish to send your vehicles at the start in Xi’an or at the finish from Moscow by other means of transport than those set up by the organization ? You will have first to communicate us your detailed logisitical plans so that we will be able to provide you the required information to organize your logisitics and especially regarding the customs processes.
