Chinese Automobile and Motorcycle Sport Federation (CAMF) Annual Assembly was held in Zhengzhou, Henan on December 20. The event was mainly dedicated to the conduction of the international competitions, with Silk Way Rally as a major event.
The meeting started with a report of the CAMF Vice President Mr.He Jiandong on the conducted events of 2018. Then the plan of conduction of 114 motorsport events for the new season was confirmed and approved on plenary sessions.
The second part of this annual assembly culminated in the presentation of Silk Way Rally 2019 to the CAMF delegates, invitees, representatives of government bodies that provide support to the project, businessmen, sportsmen and journalists.
While introducing the conduction plan of the 9th rally edition, SWR Directorate announced the opening of a motorcycle category, the establishment of the route across Russia, Mongolia and China and discussed the construction of new bivouacs.
Silk Way Rally 2019 will be held on July 6-16 across three countries: Russia, Mongolia and China. The Chinese part of racing route will include three stages and a finish ceremony in Dunhuang on July 16.
