Sainz and Kabirov first pionniers
34 cars and 16 trucks made it to Ashgabad to the finish of the first Silk Way Rally. Carlos Sainz in the car race and Firdaus Kabirov in the trucks race won overall after a great week of fighting and challenges among the leaders. Pure rally raid !

Because of Presidents visit to Turkmenbashi, management of rally changed reglament of the stage 9. The crews, participating in the Silk way rally will meet the Presidents of three countries, where the rally has place. After competitors will pass 23th km stage. The results of this stage won’t influence overall. After all the crews going to Ashgabad, where in the afternoon will have place the finish podium and greeting ceremony. The final classification be in keeping with the stage 8. The first place among cars got Carlos Sainz, the first in the truck race Firdaus Kabirov.
